This is my 1928 Chevy Capital.  I bought it in Prince Edward Island Canada.  Going  through a frame up.  Antiques, Classics, Street Rods, Kit cars...  We know 'em, we love 'em, we insure 'em.   IF YOU ANTICIPATE TROUBLE WITH YOUR TITLE, OR YOU CAN'T SEEM TO GET A TITLE, I MAY BE ABLE TO HELP..... CALL ME!

                          DEFINE AN ANTIQUE AND A CLASSIC VEHICLE...in PA. 

* Antique - Over 25 years old.  Bone Stock.  COLLECTIBLE condition.  No daily transportation.  Kept in a locked garage.

* Classic Vehicle - Bone Stock.  Over 15 years old.  COLLECTIBLE condition.  No daily transportation.  Kept in locked garage. 

                             *Neither is subject to EMISSIONS inspection.


                            GOOD AND BAD POINTS... Antiques and Classics.

* Antiques do NOT get safety inspection ... but then they cannot be used after dark ...          It's a PA law...talk to them.

* Classics DO get annual safety inspection ... OK after dark.

* Generally, mileage is under 2,500 miles a year.

* Values from $6,000 to ??? Can't hurt to have an appraisal for ???

                                               DEFINE A STREET ROD? 

* A vehicle 1948 or older vehicle.  Highly modified looks &/or performance.  Reconstructed vehicle title.  In Collectible Condition, and road worthy.  

* Vehicle must be inspected annually ... but NO emissions.

* Vehicle can be insured for different mileage limitations from 2,500 per year up to 7,500.  Some "wiggle room" possible.      

* Values from $6,000 to ???   Can't hurt to have an appraisal for ???                                                   

                                      HOW ABOUT A COLLECTIBLE?

* Same as a Street Rod except 1949 and YOUNGER.  Example a '57 Chev with a blower, slicks, and Camaro front end.

These are simplified definitions in my words including Pennsylvania's rules and some of the additional requirements of the specialty insurance companies.  It does NOT give you all the limitations or underwriting requirements...but it's close.  Call for details.
